After breakfast at the castle, you can visit Casteljaloux, a few kilometres away, hometown of the Gascony “Cadets”. You will be charmed by the “ Landes ” pine forests, by the excellent restaurants, thermal Spa, 18 hole golf course, recreational lake and horse riding facilities, etc…

There are any number of events during the summer season in Casteljaloux: festivals, ferias, bandas, local “Landaise” bull races, markets where you will find all the fare used in our renowned local cuisine, that made the famous reputation that Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and of course d’Artagnan would testify to.
