In the heart of the Albret countryside, the birthplace of King Henry IV, come to relax in the warm setting of the Château de Saint Loup en Albret, on the route de Crête, with its stunning view. It is just one hour away from Bordeaux.
Arnauld and Béatrice Clicquot de Mentque are your hosts in this ancient residence, which looks down onto the undulating countryside of Albret, in magnificent wooded grounds, with a chapel and a dovecote.
Relax in the the 12 X 6 metre swimming-pool situated in the heart of the grounds, a true haven of peace.

You may choose between dining with the family who own the castle, and going to one of the many restaurants surrounding the castle. Mr and Mrs Clicquot de Mentque will be happy to talk to you about all the different restaurants and their atmosphere.

During your stay, you can relax in our magificent wooded park, with its centuries-old trees. You will benefit from the exceptional view of the hills of Albret offered all around the castle.
Here and there in the park you will find small groups of deckchairs and loungers, so that you can best enjoy the tranquillity and silence of the setting. You will be tempted by the swimming pool, situated at the foot of a typical dovecote. As you bathe, you will glimpse the castle and the chapel through the trees.
Every room has its own identity and is furnished in its own style. You have the choice between twin, double and king-sized beds.
If you choose the gîte you will have a fully equipped autonomous house integrated in the castle, both modern and authentic.
